I'm obviously too busy right now to be a daily blogger. I am occupied with the implementation of my Birthday Luau project.
-I got the Roast Pig pick-up all sorted out. My friend Kathleen is picking it up in South San Francisco at 3:30 PM.
-I ordered the appetizers; Sushi from Rumble Fish and Fresh Vietnamese spring rolls at a new Cambodian Restaurant, Jia Tellas, both restaurants in Scotts Valley.
-I had a meeting with my Caterer, Jen and I decided that she would prepare the Asian Slaw and Thai Pineapple Fried Rice.
-I set up my first self-serve bar, Parasol
-I hung up my little mini paper lantern lights
-I stuffed two Pinatas
-I finished all my signage
-I shopped for Ziplocs, garbage bags, fruit, chicken, shrimp and water at Costco yesterday
And unrelated to the Birthday Luau, I obsessed on my sprinkler system.
My friend Robin flew in from Phoenix last night so I picked her up at the San Jose airport and we stopped by the Cheesecake Factory where I had my favorite Salmon Firecracker Rolls and a Mojito.
Went home and watched Top Chef, reminisced about some crazy things Robin and I did when we were in our 20s. It was quite funny and we had a good laugh but I won’t tell you!
This is my Friday although it is Thursday. I’m taking the day off tomorrow and Monday. It is countdown time.
